The easiest public transportation to Memmingen Airport (also known as Munich West or Flughafen Allgäu / Memmingen FMM) is usually on the Allgäu Airport Express shuttle bus service that runs from the airport to Munich Main Train Station (München Hauptbahnhof), St Gallen and Zurich. Small groups can save by using the Bayern Ticket of German Railways (Deutsche Bahn DB) when traveling by train and bus to Memmingen Munich West Airport.

Car hire, taxis, and private airport shuttle services are available and best reserved in advance. For small groups and travelers heading to destinations not served by buses or trains, private shuttles may be of value but for most travelers, the bus and train will be much cheaper. Suntransfers gives online quotations for private airport transfers without first requiring personal details or flight numbers.
