2015 Michelin Main Cities of Europe Red Guide

2015 Michelin Main Cities of Europe CoverThe Michelin Main Cities of Europe Restaurants and Hotels red guide covers 46 cities in 20 different European countries. This guide has the advantage that it does cover important European tourist and business destinations that often are not included in the limited number of Michelin single country red guides.

For example, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Vienna offer a surprising number of highly-rated restaurants. Aarhus in Denmark and Malmo in Sweden were included for the first time in the 2015 guide and both debuted with three one-star restaurants each.

In contrast to the Michelin single-country guides, the European cities guide covers more restaurants than hotels. In all, the guide describes 1537 hotels and 2380 restaurants in all price classes. The aim of Michelin guides has traditionally been to identify the best establishments in various comfort classes rather than just the best and most expensive places.

The Michelin Main Cities of Europe Guide is written in English.
