Monitors in S-Bahn train stations in Munich – here Marienplatz – show the S-Bahn trains that will pull into the station next with final destination.

Note when trains have only one or two wagons on the monitor. In such cases the train will stop at the sectors indicated – here sectors B & C. When in doubt, wait in the middle of the platform – Munich’s short S-Bahn train usually stop in the middle of the platform and not at the ends as is common in some other German cities.
