Templates on Seville Cathedral Roof

Template of Seville Cathedral

Master builders used templates on the roofs of the chapels to easily construct most elements of Seville Cathedral on site and near where they were required. Seville Cathedral is a late Gothic church and years of experienced allowed the builders to erect the largest Gothic church in the world in a relatively short time.

The templates may be seen during the frequent rooftop tours of Seville Cathedral.
