1802 Schuetzenscheibe in the Hällisch-Fränkisches Museum in Schwäbisch Hall

A whole floor in the Hällisch-Fränkisches Museum in Schwäbisch Hall is dedicated to the museum’s collection of around 200 painted target shooting shields (Bemalten Schützenscheiben) — the largest collection in Europe.

This one from 1802 praise the Duke of Württemberg and proclaims that becoming part of his territory was willingly done and that the town is happy about it.
