The top artworks in the Marienkirche in Güstrow are the late Gothic Borman Altar and the triumphal Crucifixion ensemble. the oldest item is the small oak pieta (15th century) while the pulpit is post-Reformation (1583). Between the pulpit and the pieta is the Ernst Barlach Angel of Hope (1933) terracotta relief.
