Stained glass windows in the St. Jacobikirche in Stendal

Some of the stained-glass windows in the St. Jacobikirche in Stendal are from the 14th century and thus the oldest in Northern Germany. The scenes are from Biblical events (the Passion of Christ behind the high altar is probably the easiest to read), saints, noble family shields, and medieval crafts. Here on the second row from the bottom are three important medieval trades, there were often in conflict over rights and privileges: cloth cutters, traders, and cloth makers.
