Donatello’s Passion Pulpit in San Lorenzo in Florence. The bronze reliefs were originally part of the choir enclosure and only placed on the columns and used as pulpit in the late 16th century. Behind is the large mannerist fresco of the Martyrdom of St Lawrence (1565-8) is by Bronzino.
