Old Sacristy of San Lorenzo

The old sacristy of San Lorenzo was designed by Brunelleschi in 1419 and is often seen as the first Renaissance building. Donatella did many of the interior decorations including painted terracotta sculptures depicting mostly cherubs, the life of St John the Evangelist, other evangelists, and saints. The Medici shield also features prominently.
