Soviet BMW in the Riga Motor Museum

Two 1930s BMW 326 cars are displayed in the Riga Motor Museum in Latvia. The blue one spent more than four decades in the Soviet Union. After each accident or breakdown, the lack of BMW spares meant that part from Soviet cars or simple ingenuity had to replaced what was broken. Currently, the two BMW badges on the bonnet and boot lid as well as the door handles are just about the only original parts visible on the car.
