Grauballe Man

September 20, 2016 by Henk Bekker

Grauballe Man in the Moesgaard Museum

The Grauballe Man in the Moesgaard Museum near Aarhus in Denmark was discovered in a bog in central Jutland in 1952. He was probably sacrificed in the Iron Age more than 2000 year ago. His throat was slit but the body preserved so well in the bog that it was possible to take his finger prints.
