The National Gallery of Denmark in Copenhagen has the largest collection in the world of Danish and Nordic art. Room 221 has paintings and sculptures from the late 19th and early 20th centuries including works by Edvard Munch – Workers returning home (Hjemvendende arbejdere, 1914) – behind the female statue.
