A copy of Rodin’s Burghers of Calais on display in the Rodin Museum garden. Rodin wanted the sculpture to be on ground level so pedestrians could feel one with the work and almost mingle with the despairing burghers. A dry moat ensures that visitors don’t take Rodin’s idea too literally.
On display in the garden of the Musée Rodin in Paris.
