July 5, 2020 by Henk Bekker

Organ Burchardikirche Halberstadt

The organ is installed in the former transept with only the pipes needed for the chord being played. The bellows are in the opposite end of the transept.

The longest organ music concert in the world, John Cage’s ORGAN²/ASLSP As Slow As Possible, is playing for 639 years in the St Burchardi Church in Halberstadt in Saxony Anhalt, Germany.
