The Stadtkirche St Wenzel near the market square of Naumburg is a late Gothic church. Its tower is at 72 m the highest point in the city. It is 242 steps to the viewing platform at 54 m.
The round gables of the Schlösschen, now housing the Tourist Information, is typical of the region. Several further buildings on the square, including the Rathaus, have these gables.
