The Last Supper carving by Tilman Riemenschneider is a masterpiece. The sculptures of the twelve disciples and Christ are each carved with individual faces, expressions, and features. All have curly, or at least wavy hair. Somewhat surprisingly, four are shaven — customary, only John is left beardless.
