The Altes Museum is a neo-classical building with an impressive 18 Ionic column facade designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel in the 1820s. It is on the open Lustgarten square together with the Berliner Dom and the Schloss. It houses part of the Antikensammlung, including art from the Greek, Etruscans, and Romans.
