Bluetooths Boat in the Hedeby Viking Museum 1349

This small section is all that survived from Danish King Harald Bluetooth’s flagship that sank in the port of Hedeby around AD1000. It was long thought the biggest ship of its era. The remains of the boat is displayed in the Hedeby Viking Museum in Germany as part of a larger model to show the original dimensions.
