Although the first floor of the Uffizi is much less busy than the top floor, Caravaggio’s Medusa is always popular. However, most visitors and tour groups have left or are heading straight towards the exit allowing the odd visitor a private view of many rooms including a Rembrandt self-portrait in a hall near the main exit.
