Campanile at Ravenna Cathedral

January 8, 2013 by Henk Bekker

Cylindrical Campanile at Ravenna Cathedral

The cylindrical campanile at Ravenna Cathedral is Ottonian in design and probably from the tenth century. The cathedral is rather disappointing and overshadowed by the mosaics in the small Orthodox Baptistery, which can be seen on the left.
