An example of the famous Gerrit Rietveld Red and Blue Chair on display in the boy’s room in the Rietveld-Schröder House in Utrecht. Rietveld designed the chair a few years before the house and only painted the chair in its famous colors shortly before the house was completed. He later designed the Zigzag chair specifically for the kitchen of the house.
