Two hugely popular works in the Bargello Museum are the panels portraying the sacrifice of Isaac. These were entered by Filippo Brunelleschi (right) and Lorenzo Ghiberti (left) in a competition to produce the Door of Paradise for the Baptistery (the original doors produced by Ghiberti are now in the Duomo Museum).
