Skip-the-line tickets are essential to visit top sights in Rome such as the Vatican Museum with the Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum, and Borghese Gallery while only some tours will give priority access to St Peter’s Basilica in Rome.

The Vatican Museum gets very full and although some less famous halls and galleries are pleasantly quiet, the gallery of maps get very busy as it is on the one-way route heading to the Sistine Chapel.
