Gothic Vaults in the Choir of the Bad Doberan Minster follows the original colorful painted details- Although the abbey church followed the Cistercian prescription of simplicity in the exterior, the interior was colorfully decorated in the 14th century and is the best-preserved medieval church in Europe of the former order.
