From the former West Berlin side of the Spree River, the 1.3 km section of the Berlin Wall is completely dwarfed by the O2 Arena. The wall was painted white so people moving in front of it could easily be spotted. On the reverse side of the wall is the paintings that form the East Side Gallery.
