Harold Dead in the Bayeux Tapestry

The most famous single scene from the Bayeux Tapestry is probably of King Harold dying from an arrow in the eye – Scene #57 : HIC HAROLD REX INTERFECTUS EST (Here King Harold is slain). Academics argue whether this actually is King Harold, whether he died from an arrow in the eye, or whether the arrow was added only later.
