Brutus in the Sinsheim Technik Museum

Brutus is one of the most-popular experimental cars shown in the Sinsheim Technik Museum. A 1907 chassis was combined with a First World War BMW 12 cylinder aircraft engine with a displacement of 47,000 cc. It produced 550 hp at 1530 rpm as continuous performance with bursts of 750 hp at 1700 rpm possible. As recent as 2009, it was pushed to 200 km/h at a museum demonstration run.
