November 20, 2017 by Henk Bekker

Junkers Ju 88 in the German Technology Museum Berlin 1152

The Junkers Ju 88 was a standard fighting plane of the German Luftwaffe during the Second World War. Around 15,000 were built of which only two survived.

The copy on display was shot down in 1944 and only salvaged from the Plattensee Lake in Hungary in 1996.
