Getting to the archaeological site of Pompeii by public transportation (very cheap trains) or car is easy while many guided day-trip tour buses arrive from Naples, Napoli Airport, Sorrento, and Rome.

Use the cheap Circumvesuviana commuter train to reach Pompeii within half an hour from Naples Garibaldi or Sorrento.
