Talange Marques Avenue Outlet Shopping Mall

The Marques Avenue Talange factory stores outlet mall just to the north of Metz offers shoppers great deals and discounts on mostly European brand-name clothes. Marques Avenue Talange Outlet Mall near Metz

The Marques Avenue Talange center is a traditional factory outlet mall where most shops are located inside a single shopping center. The mall’s appearance is a bit drab compared to the village concept often used in Europe but it does remind of the factory stores of old where prices were very low and service of lesser concern.

Many of the around 80 boutiques inside the Marques Avenue Talange outlet mall are European and even local companies rather than the major international fashion brands that populate most factory outlet malls in Europe. Major brands include Anne de Solene, Banana Moon, CafĂ© Coton, Calida, Desigual, Descamps, Galeries Lafayette L’Outlet, Jeff de Bruges, Jerem, Levi’s, Mango, Pierre Cardin, Salamander, Tommy Hilfiger, Tom Tailor, Triumph, and Yves Delorme Outlet. Delsey, rather than the usual outlet mall stalwart Samsonite, sells suitcases for transporting bargains home.

The sportswear shops are more familiar names such as Adidas, Aigle, Lafuma, Le Coq Sportif, Odlo, O’Neill, Puma, Quicksilver, Reebok, and Salomon.

Non-clothing stores include Black & Decker, Haribo, Home & Cook, and Le Creuset.

Nike Factory Outlet Store in Talange

Nike has its own large factory outlet store located in the center of the parking lot of the Marques Avenue Talange mall.

On the roads to the south of the mall (towards Metz) are several further factory outlet stores. Polo Ralph Lauren and Levi Strauss have their own stores but many further multi-brand stores often have the best bargains, although the selection here very much depends on the season.

Driving times from Metz are around 10 minutes with Luxembourg City and Nancy around half an hour away. Talange is midway between Reims and Strasbourg just off the A4 crossing with the A31.

Book French Train and Bus Tickets

French railway tickets are available online from many resellers – Omio and Trainline are generally the simplest to use.

SNCF has several official websites: Oui.SNCF is the main site but visitors may be passed on to other SNCF sub-sites with many non-European-based users ending up at RailEurope sites that often sell only long-distance train tickets. Trainline and Omio are generally a lot easier to use and may include searches for competing buses, such as Flixbus, that are price and time competitive with trains on some popular routes. Also, try Ouigo for low-cost TGV trains — limited choice and routes but low prices.

Trainline and Omio also sell cross border journeys and tickets for many other European countries. Print at home tickets are generally the best option, collecting tickets at the station is time-consuming. Tickets for short journeys and trains in urban areas (RER & Metro) are usually not sold online.
