Historic Troyes in Aube en Champagne2

December 18, 2012 by Henk Bekker

Narrow Alley in Troyes

Half-timbered buildings touch over this narrow medieval alley in the heart of historic Troyes in Aube en Champagne in France. It is called Ruelle de Chats – alley of the cats – as it is so narrow that cats can jump from one building to the next, which this specific point is probably an insult to the jumping skills of the average alley cat.
