One of the most popular exhibits in the DDR Museum in Berlin is the Trabi that visitors of all ages may drive as a driving simulator. The Trabi was generally the only car available to East Germans. the waiting list for a new one was up to 16 years – second hand cars often traded for more than contracts to buy a new one.
