The Stockholm Quality Outlet shops are open on Sundays and most vacation days but obviously not over Christmas or Midsummer. Earlier opening hours usually apply on Black Friday and Boxing Day.

Transportation to Stockholm Quality Outlet

Stockholm Quality Outlet Espresso HouseGetting to Stockholm Quality Outlet, Flyginfarten 4, 177 38 Järfälla, Sweden, is easiest by car but public transportation is of course also available. It is an easy 20 minutes drive from central Stockholm or around an hour from Uppsala to the outlet mall – use exit Barkarby Handelsplats on the E18 highway. Free parking is allowed for up to four hours.

By public transportation, use Barkarby Handelsplats as destination stop. Planning is easy on sl.se but basically involves a train to Barkarby and then bus 550 or 567 to Barkarby Handelsplats that is near the shopping mall. Total traveling time from Stockholm Central Station is around 40 minutes.

Factory outlet shopping malls in Sweden are few and far between. The only other similar shopping village is at Hede near Gothenburg (Göteborg) in the far west of the country.
